Russell 2000 Seven Year Day Session Bear Market

The day session for the Russell 2000 peaked 7 years ago. If you went long the open and sold the close in the Russell 2000 futures, even without transaction costs, the peak would have occurred in November 2017. Any net gains since that time have all been in the overnight session. 

Since last week, the pattern has become more bullish. Is this the beginning of a regime change?
